Beginning "at the beginning" and weaving in and out of dreams, loves and losses, work and play and the everyday occurrences which normally reside only behind the windows of houses with closed eyelids, the play describes in poetic prose a day in the life of some of the inhabitants of the small fishing village of Llareggub.

Directed by Michael Garside

This is staged with 4 male and 4 female actors. Each actor plays at least 7 roles from children to the older inhabitants of the village.

The setting is very simple with the actors on stage all the time.

With the recent anniversary of Dylan Thomas's death it is fitting that this play be produced at this time.

Since it was written originally for the radio, it leaves the actors and director free to interpret the images within the play as they wish.
