To open the newly re-furbished Harrogate Theatre, the Society is proud to present Peter Shaeffer’s stunning tale of jealousy, intrigue and suspected murder in the relationship between Court Composer Salieri and his musical rival, the genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Salieri believes Mozart’s music is divine but can’t understand why God  has favoured such a vulgar creature to be His instrument. Intense envy leads to revenge.
