Claudia - by Rose Franken
December 1955 - The Little Theatre, Old Swan Hotel

Popular comedy at Harrogate

Harrogate Dramatic Society's presentation of the ever popular Rose Franken comedy "Claudia" at the Little Theatre this week hits the right note for anyone getting into tune for Christmas festivities.
One of the latest recruits to this versatile company, Claire Simpson, could surely make the dullest eyes sparkle with her portrayal of the gay young wife whose immature womanhood brings her to the brink of making a fool of herself.
There are convincing performances by David Perkis as the husband who understands and forgives, Donald Seed as the sophisticated Jerry and Mollie Moorhouse as the attractive Madame Daruschka.
In capable support are Christine Pilch, Margaret Sabine, Joan Chamley and Arthur Dent. High marks for a splendid production go the Reginald Waithman.
