Elwood P. Dowd (Philip Wright)   Harrogate Dramatic Society's presentation of the American comedy "Harvey" at the Royal Hall, this week, makes a grand finale to a successful season.
Philip Wright, the Leeds actor gives a very clever performance as that curious character Elwood P. Dowd. He has strong support from some of the most popular members of the society, notably Pat Broadhurst as Elwood's sister, Ann Lishman as his niece, Myrtle, Rae Whitaker as the nurse, Margaret Sabine as Aunt Ethel, Michael Waddington as Dr. Sanderson and Harry Beety as Dr. Chumley.
