The Noble Spaniard - by Somerset Maugham
February 1955 - The Little Theatre, Old Swan Hotel

Harrogate actors in Maugham play

Harrogate Dramatic Society presented a satisfying production of Somerset Maugham's comedy of manners, "The Noble Spaniard" at the Little Theatre, Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate last night.
Joyce Perkins (Marion Nairne) and Ronald Simpson (the Duke of Hermanos) gave competent performances in the leading parts. Kay Gaunt as Lady Proudfoot added fun the hilarious situations arising from the noble Spaniard's determined efforts to seek out and eliminate the non-existent husband standing between him and his heart's desire.
