The Society is always looking for new members - experienced or otherwise. If you can act, paint, prompt, knock nails into wood, sew, pull a curtain rope, operate lighting / sound, print posters, make coffee, or none of the above we would love to hear from you. If you want to be on stage, behind it or even under it (!) there's a role for you. Within its ranks, the Society has a vast wealth of experience and knowledge of everything theatrical. It has a reputation for producing exceptionally high quality plays (and contains a number of ex-professional actors) so if you would like to learn more about stage productions, in whatever capacity, there's someone in The Society to help. Indeed, one of our stated aims is to simply promote interest in the theatre in general. We hold a Coffee Morning on the first Saturday of the month, at our premises - No 59 East Parade at 11:00am which is an ideal opportunity to come along, have a chat, (and a cup of coffee) and find out more. For more information, contact our Membership Secretary, Gill McVey on (01423) 564618, or our Secretary, Sue Rawson, who will be delighted to send you a membership application form.
Alternatively, you could call us at No
59 East Parade and leave a message on the answering machine, but
please be aware it might be some time before these messages are passed
on. |
