Welcome to the Harrogate Dramatic Society
At last we have a light at the end of the tunnel and we can resume our productions.
We start with the very special production shown below.
Premiering at The Crown Hotel Harrogate
November 4th – 6th 2021
“On the night of Thursday 12 September 1940 a German Junker 88 dropped bombs on The Majestic Hotel, causing severe damage; this was the only time during the war that Harrogate was attacked. The reason for the raid has always been a secret with the papers simply reporting a stray attack as part of a bigger raid on northern industrial targets. But what really happened?
The Stray, a drama written by local author Keith Burton, suggests one possible reason. Come along and see if you agree.”
